Great, but how do you get to Yerevan?

From the airport, you can reach Yerevan by bus, which, like the rest of Yerevan’s public transport system, has switched to cashless payments. This means you need to buy a QR ticket via Telcell Wallet or a Telcell Terminal, or pay by bank card, including Google Pay and Apple Pay, which are available only on the airport bus.

ℹ️ With this ticket, you can make a single trip from “Zvartnots” Airport to Yerevan city center or the other way around. It must be activated within 30 days of purchase. The ticket costs 500 AMD, or 480 AMD in the Telcell Wallet app.

How to buy a ticket with Telcell Wallet

If you are not yet verified in Telcell Wallet, we recommend doing so in advance so that you can quickly purchase your ticket when needed.
In your personal profile in the app, tap “Upgrade Status” and follow the steps. Verification is completed automatically in just a few simple steps.
Once your application is approved:

• log in to the Telcell Wallet app and tap the “Transport” button on the main page,
• open the “Buy Ticket” section and select the “Airport” ticket,
• choose a payment method and tap “Continue,” then “Pay.”

The amount will be charged, and the generated QR code will be stored in the “Tickets” section on the main page.

How to buy a ticket with a Telcell Terminal

ℹ️ The airport is the only place where you can still buy a paper QR ticket. To do this:

• find a Telcell Terminal in the airport area,
• on the terminal’s main page, tap “Ticket,”
• select “Airport,”
• enter your phone number and tap “Next,”
• select the number of tickets and tap “Next,”
• choose a payment method (cash or bank card), insert the cash or tap your card on the POS terminal, and complete the payment.

The terminal will issue a one-time paper QR ticket.

How to pay on public transport

To use the ticket on transport, scan either your Telcell Wallet QR ticket or the paper ticket from the terminal at the validator’s QR scanner. When the payment is confirmed, a green check mark will appear on the validator’s screen.
